The development of reusable vehicles, new launch providers and the participation of universities and startups are changing that landscape.<\/p>\n<p>This does not make access to space simple or inexpensive for everyone: launches require technology, safety, funding and regulation. But greater availability of space services can support environmental monitoring, weather forecasting, connectivity, agriculture, navigation and scientific research.<\/p>\n<h2>Space science is part of daily life<\/h2>\n<p>Satellites help monitor wildfires, rainfall, oceans, farmland and changes in land use. Positioning systems, communications and weather data also depend on space infrastructure. World Space Week aims to bring students and the public closer to subjects that already shape everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>Schools, astronomy clubs, museums and other organisations can use the date for skywatching, workshops, talks and science outreach activities.
