In 2025, the sector received 136 new projects in commercial operation. Solar photovoltaic generation led the additions, with 63 new plants and 2,815.84 MW of capacity. Next, thermal plants added 15 units and 2,505.77 MW, while wind farms contributed 43 parks and 1,825.90 MW.
