The São Paulo Book Biennial brought Brazilian and international literature to Distrito Anhembi from September 4 to 13, 2026. The venue is in the northern part of São Paulo.
Its announced lineup included Conceição Evaristo, Raphael Montes, Paula Pimenta and Carina Rissi. International guests also included Lynn Painter and Alice Oseman.
Authors and discussions at the São Paulo Book Biennial
The Arena Cultural served as the main stage for meetings between writers and readers. Meanwhile, other spaces explored literature, education and contemporary issues.
Beyond author events, the program included health, well-being and innovation. Thus, the fair connected books with a wider range of cultural experiences.
Tickets and book credits
Fever handled ticket sales for the São Paulo Book Biennial. In addition, the 2026 edition introduced evening tickets from Monday through Thursday.
The cashback scheme offered credit toward books at participating stands. However, the amount depended on the ticket category. Evening tickets converted their full value into book credit.
